We want you to get involved in our exciting community animation!

We have an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to a wonderful piece of ecological artwork based around Lincolnshire sand dune environments.

What are we doing?

We're working with local artists to create an intergenerational, community animation about Lincolnshire’s sand dunes, using artwork from schools, community groups and care homes. The animation will feature in the ‘Art of Saving Sand Dunes’ touring exhibition in August 2022 – dates for which we will advertise on the Dynamic Dunescapes and Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust websites.

Opportunities for young people

If you are a school, club or community group between the age of 16 – 30, you could receive up to £500 to develop a creative or research project inspired by a FREE ‘Day in the Dunes’.

What do the artists say?

"We'll be making a hand-painted animation where each participant paints a frame each. When it's all put together it will make a short film looking at the importance of sand dune environments for wildlife and conservation. Unfortunately we can't visit any of these locations at the moment, so your videos will help us get a sense of place and inspire the final animation."
