We want you to get involved in our exciting community animation, by sending us your videos of the coast!
We have an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to a wonderful piece of ecological artwork based around Lincolnshire sand dune environments.
What are we doing?
We're working with local artists, who need your short video clips to help them create a series of images, or frames, which will make up a film. Each frame of this film will then be painted by members of the community and turned into an animation.
How can you help?
You can help artists Juneau Projects with their research by sending us your video footage of places like Gibraltar Point, Coastal Country Park, Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe and Mablethorpe beach. Short clips of the landscape and wildlife of these areas will help the artists make a collaborative animation with the local community.
Use our 'Send us your stories' page to send us your files.
What do the artists say?
"We'll be making a hand-painted animation where each participant paints a frame each. When it's all put together it will make a short film looking at the importance of sand dune environments for wildlife and conservation. Unfortunately we can't visit any of these locations at the moment, so your videos will help us get a sense of place and inspire the final animation."
