Volunteers have always played an important role in the conservation work of all of the project’s partner organisations; we have even found some old black and white photos of Natural England volunteers working on the dunes at Saltfleetby in Lincolnshire from the 1970s.
Dynamic Dunescapes will have a range of volunteering opportunities across each of our dune project sites, from helping to remove invasive plant species and restoring dune slack ponds, to identifying plants and conducting species surveys.
