Dynamic Dunescapes

Join Cornwall Wildlife Trust and celebrate World Sand Dune Day in Penhale Dunes!

Join us at Perran Sands Holiday Park for a day of wildlife and nature-themed family friendly activities. There'll also be two art workshops (all abilities welcome, aged 12+) run by Caroline Pedler. Don't forget to check out the Dune Den for even more dune inspiration!

 

Activities:

8am - Marvellous moths, check out our moth traps

9am - Bird walk, explore the dunes at Gear Sands looking for birds

10am - Wildflower wander, join Botanist Derek Green finding fabulous flowering plants

11am - Art workshop, Finding shapes in the dunescape with Caroline Pedler

11:30am -  Butterfly walk with Cornwall Butterfly Conservation

1pm - Spider hunt, search for sandy spiders with expert Tylan Berry

2pm -  Art workshop, Finding shapes in the dunescape with Caroline Pedler

3pm -  Ranger walk, CWT's Penhale Dunes Ranger talks diggers dunes & diversity
