Meet us at Cleethorpes Beach for a day of activities including a guided dune and saltmarsh walk and self-led macrophotography and geocaching trails.
To celebrate World Sand Dune Day, our Lincolnshire team will be running an exciting day of events at Cleethorpes Beach, for all the family.
Come along and you can try:
- Macrophotography (11am-4pm)
Borrow or buy a lens for your smartphone to explore the creatures along our coastline in a whole new light (£10 deposit, cash only)
- Geocaching (11am-4pm)
Download the app and discover a Seaside memory bank hidden amongst the dunes.
- Reminiscence box (11am-4pm)
Share you favourite seaside holiday memories as part of an intergenerational arts project.
- Guided sand dune and salt marsh walk (2-4pm -ONLY on August 28th)
Explore the changing landscape of our dunes and marshes with a local nature guide from Plover Rovers. Please bring adequate footwear, as the paths we'll follow might be muddy.
Find us at our dune den on the beach behind the leisure centre, DN35 0BY.
Please do not attend this event if you have any Covid-19 symptoms.
The walking tour is being run in collaboration with Plover Rovers.
