Free family activities to celebrate World Sand Dune Day at Rossall Point Tower, Fleetwood

All of the events will be drop-ins and there's no need to book. For timed events, please make sure you arrive with plenty of time

 

Family Arts and Crafts, 10 am to 2:30 pm

Make a dune dragon, wind a wiggly worm, create a starfish. Drop-in to our coastal crafts stall.

 

Dune Detectives, 10 am to 2:30 pm

Search for creatures, look for clues and discover the wildlife. Drop-in to our dune station to get your wildlife pack and become a dune detective.

 

Sand Dune Stroll at 10:30 am

Join Wyre Ranger Janice Hickmott for a wonder along the dunes. Discover dune wildlife and learn about its conservation. Meet at Rossall Point Tower. No need to book.

 

Strandline Explorers at 1:30 pm

Explore the secrets of the strandline, discover shark eggs, shells and creatures and have a go at beach art with your family. Meet Jane Godfrey from The Bay Project at Rossall Point Tower. No need to book.
