Event details

Sat at the edge of the Duddon estuary with a backdrop of Black Combe, Haverigg dunes is a special place enjoyed by many and a hotspot for local wildlife. At Haverigg, Dynamic Dunescapes will be removing invasive species, conserving pools for natterjack toads and helping our specialised wildlife to thrive.

We are seeking committed local volunteer rangers to help look after the dunes and lend a hand with practical conservation work over the coming years. Join Eve Mulholland, Engagement Officer for Dynamic Dunescapes Cumbria, for an insight into the wildlife and conservation of Haverigg dunes and find out how you can get involved.

The talk will take place online and will take 40 minutes with time for questions and discussion at the end. You can join Eve from the comfort of your living room; all you’ll need is a laptop, desktop PC, or smartphone!
