Help to keep our beautiful Cumbrian beaches clean and free from litter that could harm wildlife by joining us for a litter pick at South Walney Nature Reserve.

We’ll be meeting at the visitor centre and car park at 10.30am, before walking to the beach and finishing at around 1.00pm, with hot drink refreshments provided afterwards.

We'll also be providing equipment (gloves, litter pickers and bin bags), but bring your own litter picker if you have one.

Remember to dress warmly and bring a waterproof jacket. The ground will be uneven so please wear sensible footwear (e.g. Walking boots), and please be aware the route may be unsuitable for those with mobility issues.

Places are limited so booking is required.
