Join Tim Braund from Plantlife to kick-start our fortnight of digital events in the lead up to World Sand Dune Day, and find out more about Dynamic Dunescapes

  • When coastal sand dunes are home to a diverse range of specialised and rare plant and animals, why are these beautiful landscapes currently risk of losing their biodiversity?
  • What species is the project working hard to support, and how will we do that?
  • And how can you get involved in this ground-breaking conservation work near you?
Tim Braund

Tim Braund, Dynamic Dunescapes Engagement Officer, will deliver an online session explaining the challenges that dunes and dune wildlife face today, and introduce you to the work that Dynamic Dunescapes is doing in England and Wales to restore these habitats.

You will also find out how to get involved in the project as a student, researcher, volunteer and as a citizen scientist. This talk will be 40 minutes with time for questions.

This event will be hosted on online using Zoom and will be recorded. If you do not wish to be part of the recording, please keep your video and microphone off for the duration of the session.

Please use the link below to book your place. Joining details will be emailed to you a few days before the event.
