Take part in our national citizen science scheme and help to conserve our dunes.

Our first training session will introduce the project and will be a chance to meet fellow citizen science volunteers. We will look closely at identifying different dune habitat types and how to record changes in dune profile along transects using recording forms and the Dunescapes App.

New and returning volunteers welcome. Please bring sensible clothing and footwear, a packed lunch and your own refreshments too. All other equipment will be provided.

Dynamic Dunescapes Citizen Science Scheme is part of a national, long-term project to monitor the health of our sand dunes. This training will allow volunteers to take part collecting important annual data.
