Join Gus Horsley from Cornwall Geoconservation Group (the geological arm of Cornwall Wildlife Trust) for a guided walk around the coast of Penhale, starting at Perran Sands Holiday Park.
The Cornish coastline is littered with fascinating historical sites and remains, from the county's mining era to military operations. Learn a little more about the history hidden in the dunes, including spotting some of the many mine shafts in the area now rugged features of the landscape, on a guided walk with geologist Gus Horsley and Cornwall Wildlife Trust.
Meet at 9:30am at Perran Sands Holiday Park, at the top of the path that leads from the main complex down to the beach.
