Meet the Cattle: Mawbray Banks, Cumbria

Join us on the dunes for a series of dog friendly walks and talks to explore the wildlife and conservation of some of your favourite places.

‘Meet the Cattle’ at Mawbray Banks will be led by Deputy Manager Chris Spencer from Solway Coast AONB and Engagement Officer Eve Mulholland from Dynamic Dunescapes. Find out about the new, native-breed herd on site, learn about and discuss the wildlife, history and what we are doing to help protect this Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Booking is essential

There are three scheduled walks:

  • Saturday 5th June: 11am to 12pm
  • Saturday 5th June: 2pm to 3pm
  • Saturday 5th June: 4pm to 5pm

Our staff and volunteers will be on hand throughout the day at the gazebo. Pop along, have a chat, grab some free wildlife activity sheets, leaflets and treats.

 

Please do not attend if you show any symptoms of Covid.
