Join Cumbria Wildlife Trust and Natural England to find out why sand dunes are the focus of a nationwide conservation effort, and the wildlife that makes these landscapes so special.

Dynamic Dunescapes national sand dune restoration project is coming to Askam and Roanhead. Find out about the important conservation works taking place in your local area.

Dynamic Dunescapes is a national project restoring sand dunes for the benefit of wildlife, people and communities. Funded by EU LIFE Programme and National Lottery Heritage Fund, it is a multi-partnership project led by Natural England.

Sand dunes are the habitat most at risk in Europe for biodiversity loss. Vital conservation works are taking place across England and Wales to protect this important habitat.

Eve Mulholland, Engagement Officer from Cumbria Wildlife Trust and Richard Storton, Project Officer from Natural England, invite you to join us for an online talk discussing the project at Askam and Roanhead. There will be a 40 minute presentation with time for Q&A at the end.

This talk will be hosted on Zoom. You will be emailed the meeting joining instructions after booking.
