As part of Dynamic Dunescapes series of dog-friendly walks and talks, we are inviting you and your best friends to join us on the dunes.
We will be exploring the wildlife and conservation of some of your favourite coastal go-to places.
Join us on a guided walk around North Walney National Nature Reserve led by Natural England rangers and Dynamic Dunescapes Engagement Officer, Eve Mullholland. Learn about the array of rare and protected bird life, flora and fauna that calls this place home and find out about its conservation.

Meeting point: Meet at start of N.Walney nature reserve trail. SD16944 70713
Free parking available at Earnse Bay at the west end of West Shore Road, Walney opposite West Shore park. North Walney Nature Reserve is a 0,75km walk north along the trackway from the car park. Follow the flags and head towrds the gazebo. Please allow 15mins to walk from the car to the start of the reserve where your guided walk will begin at the stated time.
Please do not attend if you show symptoms of Covid.
Our staff and volunteers will be on hand throughout the day at the gazebo. Pop along, have a chat, grab some free wildlife activity sheets, leaflets and treats.
