Want to help our wildlife on the coast? We are looking for volunteers to help do some litter picking along our dunes and shorelines. Learn about Dynamic Dunescapes project and dune wildlife along the way.

South Walney Nature Reserve

Foulney Island

In the small car park on the Roa Island causeway

  • Thursday 21st January 10:00am - 1:00pm

From Rampside follow the road towards Roa Island. Stop about a quarter of the way across the Roa Island causeway and park in the small car park on the left hand side. Meet Sarah, Reserve Warden, in the car park.

 

Booking is essential

Limited group sizes of 6. You MUST provide your own gloves, other equipment will be provided. Please wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear. We recommend bringing your own refreshments too. Subject to cancellation if adverse weather. Walking will be on uneven ground.

These will be led by Barry, who will meet volunteers at the reserve car park.
